The making of the dies is the “soul” of medal making. This is where the design is engraved into the die.
This can be done by hand engraving, machine pre-engraving, with CNC technology or laser beam machining.
At the end of the process, our engravers perform the finishing touches on the die.

Géza Szabó Sr. (1895-1968) got his goldsmith certificate in 1930, and was the one to put down the foundation of ÉremVerde®. During his time, cast, minted and embossed medals, plaques and ingots were produced. In 1984 his son, Géza Szabó restarted the production of minted medals on the old equipment and machines.
